Director Rajamouli is a household name in Andhra Pradesh with scintillating hits under his belt uncluding Magadheera. Almost all his earlier films were remade in Tamil that includes Siruthai.
He seems to have now hit the bull's eye with Maaveran, the Tamil version of Magadheera. It not just won huge revenue at the box office but garnered great reviews for its grand production value.
Says Rajamouli, 'I always want to experiment with my films within a commercial ambit. Brought up in Chennai, I learnt nuances of film-making when I was in Chennai'.
Thanking all his co-stars and producers, Rajamouli says, ' a honest attempt without any compromise will always be rewarded'.
This talented director is experimenting with a film titled ‘Eega’ with live and animated characters. Nani and Samantha are playing the lead roles and Kannada artiste Sudeep is playing a negative role.
